How do we get started working together?

I offer a free initial phone consultation during which I will learn more about your needs and determine if it makes sense for us to work together. This is also a great time for us to talk about any questions you may have about therapy. You can reach out to me or use my online booking widget to schedule a consultation.

If we decide to work together, appointments following the consultation will be 45 minutes long. In the initial session, I will gather more information about your history and what brings you to seek therapy at this time.

What are your fees and do you accept insurance?

Fees will be discussed during your initial free consultation. I do not contract with insurance companies but can gladly provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Please check with your insurance company to learn about your out-of-network benefits. In doing so, I recommend that you ask about the following: referral requirements, pre-approval requirements, reimbursement rates, annual maximums and deductible details.

I only accept electronic payment. I accept payment through Zelle (an app that allows for free transfer of payment between bank accounts) as well as credit/debit.

What is your cancelation policy?

If you need to cancel an appointment, I ask that you do so 48 hours prior to our session together. If you cancel within 48 hours and we are unable to reschedule our appointment to another time within the same week, then you will be responsible for the session fee. Additionally, if you do not show up to a scheduled appointment, you will be responsible for the session fee.
